Banana Cream Cake


2 1/4 cup sifted cake fluor
1 1/4 cup sugar
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs
1 1/2 cup mashed bananas
1 tsp vanilla extract

Sift first 5 ingredients together.  Add shortening, eggs and 1/2 cup bananas.  Beat 2 minutes.  Add remaining 1 cup bananas; vanilla.
Grease and line bottom of the baking pan with wax paper.  Pour in batter and bake at 375ºF por about 25 minutes.
