Carrot Cake


1 1/4 c sugar
3 eggs
1/4 c oil
2 c fluor
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 c nuts chopped
1 c rasins
1 c shredded carrots
1/2 c glazed cherries, halved
1 lemon rind, grated

Beat sugar, eggs and oil together.  Sift in dry ingredients and blend thorougly.  Fold in remaining ingredients.
Bake in a greased 9" tube pan al 325ºF for 50 to 60 minutes.
