Wonder Crullers

12 slices wonder bread
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 cup milk
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tbsp vanilla
pich nutmeg

Cut cruller shapes from slices of bread.  Mix remaining ingredients. Dip crullers in mixture and fry in deep hot fat (385ºF) until golden brown.  Drain on soft paper and dust generously with powdered sugar.  Makes 12 crullers.
