2 cups warm milk (scalded + cooled)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp salt
3/4 tsp nutmeg
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup shortening
2 yeast cakes disolved in 1/2 cup warm water
4 cups fluor
2 eggs well beaten
Remove stone from prunes. Set aside, Add sugar, salt, spices and shortening to warm milk.
Add eggs and fluor to make stiff dough. Knead and ser aside to rise. When double. roll like jelly roll after spreading with prunes. Slice and place in muffin tins, raise in warm place. Bake in 350ºF-375ºF oven until brown Yield 2 1/2 dozen.
