Banana Cream Cake

Ingredients

2 1/4 c sifted cake fluor
1 1/4 c sugar
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c shortening
2 eggs
1 1/2 c mashed bananas
1 tsp vanilla extract

Sift first 5 ingredients together, add shortening, eggs and 1/2 cup bananas, Beat 2 minutes, add remaining 1 cup bananas and vanilla.
Grease and line the bottom of the baking pan with wax paper.  Pour batter and bake al 375ºF for about 25 minutes.
