Ingredients
1 1/2 cups fluor
1 cup sugar
3 tbsp cocoa
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
1 tbsp vinegar
6 tbsp salad oil
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup cold water
Sift dry ingredients into an 8 x 8 x 2 " pan, ungreased. Level off and put 3 holes in mixture with the back of spoon.
Into 1 hole put vinegar, oil in another and vanilla in the last; pour water over and stir thoroughly with a fork.
Bake 25 minutes at 350ºF.
Icing:
1/4 cup butter
1 1/2 tbs cocoa
3 tbs milk
2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
Melt the first 3 ingredients in a saucepan. Don't boil it. Remove from the heat and add the powdered sugar. Stir in the vanilla. You may need to add more powdered sugar to get it to the right consistency.
